ZEISS, a premium optics manufacturer for over 175 years, has announced the new V8 NA riflescopes, designed and configured for the North American hunter.
Two new additions to the V8 family, the V8 NA 2.8-20×56 and 4.8-35×60 feature a 30/34mm main tube, MOA settings, and a multi-turn, external elevation turret with Ballistic Stop™. These riflescopes provide exceptional optical performance, an extra-large eye box, and two reticle options that offer an ultra-fine center dot with daylight visible illumination, according to Zeiss.
The V8 NA riflescopes provide superior optical quality for detailed and precise images with 92% light transmission to the eye. The riflescopes have SCHOTT and FL high-transmission lenses for absolute natural color reproduction and brilliant details. Zeiss T* premium light transmission coatings guarantee brilliant images and enables then shooter to see finer and cleaner details even under challenging lighting conditions. The LotuTec coating ensures a clear view in all weather.
Designed and manufactured in Germany, each configuration comes in two reticle options, the Plex-Style illuminated dot reticle (#60) and the all-new Advanced Hunting Reticle (AHR) (#90).
The new V8 NA riflescopes are shipping now to participating ZEISS authorized dealers.
According to the Zeiss website, “German design, engineering, manufacturing, and ultimate craftsmanship comes to life in these sophisticated V8 scopes with a highly advantageous 8x zoom ratio. The distinctly innovative optics utilize exotic glass types, from SCHOTT glass, consisting of multiple FL (fluoride) and HT (high-transmission) lens elements. The optical system yields an impressively bright image, with a guaranteed light transmission value of 92%. An immediate advantage of these designs is the extra-large eye box that allows for faster target acquisition.”
With up to 35x magnification the V8 4.8-35×60 NA offers the ultimate in long-range target identification and truly extends long-range hunting capabilities. The optical system offers most excellent detailed image resolution throughout the entire 35x range.
