Team Colt shooters Mark Redl and Maggie Reese competed together for the first time this season and walked away with high honors at the USPSA EGW Area 8 Championship.
Redl took first overall in the Limited 10 division, with 1,064.7355 match points. Reese placed second in the Ladies Production division, with 625.9016 match points.
“It was great to see Mark and Maggie’s paths cross in their respective competition circuits,” said Joyce Rubino, vice president of Marketing for Colt’s Manufacturing Company. “As always, we are very proud of the outstanding marksmanship and leadership that our Team Colt representatives bring to the range.”
The match featured 10 stages with names such as Flying Plates, Barrel of Monkeys, Harsh Hallways and Barricade.
The USPSA EGW Area 8 Championship took place Aug. 28-31 at the Fredericksburg Rod & Gun Club in Fredericksburg, VA.
Up next for Redl is the Long Island Championship on Sept. 21, and Reese’s next event will be the USPSA Handgun Nationals on Sept. 21.
