The popular “Shoot Like A Girl” program is resuming its 2020 Coast-to-Coast tour beginning the weekend of June 6-7 with an appearance at the Cabela’s in Missoula, Mont.
The announcement came as coronavirus restrictions around the states are beginning to lift. According to a press release, “Shoot Like A Girl has respectfully abided by the Center for Disease Control (CDC) guidelines to practice social distancing, to shelter and/or stay at home and limit non-essential travel during this historic COVID-19 Pandemic. The entire team is ready to resume travel, and empower women to participate in shooting sports with confidence.”
“We are moving forward securing travel plans with optimism that the country will move to Phase 2 of President Trump’s “Opening Up America Again” guidelines,” said Karen Butler, President and Founder of Shoot Like A Girl. “We have implemented risk mitigation strategies for the safety of our clients and staff, and our operating processes will be slightly different to adhere to CDC recommendations.”

Phase 2 of President Trumps “Opening Up America Again” Guidelines allow for non-essential travel, and for event venues to open under moderate physical distancing protocols, the organization said.
The new procedures are focused on keeping their clients and instructors safe. Each participant will be given a TrueTimber SilverTec Ninja Hood, generously provided by Bass Pro Shops; a pair of Birchwood Casey eye protection, kindly provided by GSM Outdoors; and disposable gloves, Shoot Like A Girl said.
As clients approach the iconic mobile range a waiting area will be marked to adhere to six feet of social distancing, the same standard applied to other places, including grocery and hardware stores, and even parks and playgrounds.
“When it is their turn,” Shoot Like A Girl said, “they will be given the mask, glasses and gloves to keep, and hearing protection that will be properly sanitized between clients. Contact will be limited to one instructor per client, and a firearms demonstration station will be set up outside of the trailer.”
Shoot Like A Girl is the industry leader in growing the number of women in shooting sports by giving them an interactive experience of shooting a pistol, rifle, and bow in a safe controlled environment, the news release said. The experience is free to each participant because of the following corporate partners:
