Savage Arms has announced a partnership with the National Deer Association (NDA), supporting the organization in its ongoing efforts to ensure the conservation and preservation of wild deer, wildlife habitat, and hunting traditions.
“The NDA plays a major role in the conservation of North America’s most beloved big game animal,” said Beth Shimanski, Director of Marketing for Savage Arms. “The work the NDA is doing for the conservation of our wildlife and the future of our hunting opportunities can not be understated. As a company with strong roots in the hunting community, Savage thanks the NDA and is proud to support their efforts.”
“We’re excited to gain the support of Savage Arms, a trusted and iconic brand among deer hunters,” said Nick Pinizzotto, President and CEO of the National Deer Association. “My first hunting rifle was a Savage Model 110 that I got over 30 years ago and I still use it today.”
Recently combined from two leading deer conservation organizations with over 38 years of action, the National Deer Association is America’s leading deer conservation organization with a new vision to make an impact for conservation immediately and for future generations. The NDA focuses its efforts in four critical areas: Education and outreach, recruitment, retention and reactivation, policy and advocacy, and deer diseases. Through this newly formed partnership, Savage Arms can directly assist these initiatives to help ensure generations to come have access to the hunting opportunities we have today.
