Lansky Sharpeners, a world leader in innovative sharpening technology since 1979, always seems to have new sharpeners, knives or multi-tools when the outdoor trade convenes for the annual SHOT Show, and this year is no exception.
Lansky introduced its new Roadie™ 8 in 1 Keychain Sharpener in Las Vegas this January.
The Roadie™ 8 in 1 Keychain Sharpener and tool kit that contains more useful features per square inch than any other sharpener in the world. The ultimate in portability and versatility, you just clip the carabiner on your keychain or backpack and you’re ready to hit the open road or the lonely fishing, hunting or camping trail.
The new product features a carbide knife sharpener set to the same angle as Lansky’s best-selling Blademedic®. And it also includes two screwdrivers (one flat head, one Phillip’s head), a variable hex wrench, a bottle opener, a box cutter, a pry tool, and a line cutter.
“The target for the Roadie was to create a truly portable sharpener that one could store on a personal keychain unobtrusively,” said Christopher Fire CEO, Lansky Sharpeners.
“Not satisfied to stop there, we decided to fill up any available space on the device with tools that, in all probability, would most likely prove useful when you least expect it. In doing so, we created a super-light, portable sharpener and multi-use tool that can be clipped well beyond a keychain — just about anywhere.”
– The Roadie is of lightweight metal construction so it is lightweight enough to be unobtrusive when carried but not in use yet rugged enough to do whatever job suddenly pops up.
