Buck Knives, a legend in sports cutlery, is has announced the 040 Onset folder for everyday carry, noting that the knife will be available in August.

Sporting a S45VN Bos heat treated flat grind blade, ultra-smooth ball bearing flipper, G10 top scale and removable belt clip, this framelock knife elevates the everyday carry game. Featuring a 3 3/8” drop point blade with an overall closed length of 4 7/8” and Rockwell hardness of 59-61, the Onset is “built for the rigors of daily use, offering superior edge retention and rock solid toughness,” the company said.
The 040 Onset was developed through Buck’s commitment to continually expand and enhance their EDC (everyday carry) lineup.
