A new GP100 Match Champion with adjustable sight and a lighter weight Commander-sized SR1911 are among the Ruger handguns most recently introduced. The new Ruger® GP100® Match Champion™ shares all of the same great features of the original fixed sight model, but now includes a white outline, windage and elevation adjustable rear sight which, when combined with the fiber-optic front sight, creates a great sight picture that can be adjusted based on the type of ammunition being shot.
The six-shot revolver chambered in .357 Magnum with a 4.2-inch slab-sided, half-lug barrel was designed for competition accuracy. It has a suggested list price of $929.
Ruger SR 1911
The Ruger® SR1911® Lightweight Commander-style pistol has a black anodized aluminum frame with a satin stainless finish on the slide, resulting in an attractive two-tone appearance in a gun that weighs 7oz. less than the all stainless steel SR1911. It comes factory equipped with an integrated, polished titanium feed ramp and features thin, hardwood grip panels for concealed carry, as well as front strap serrations for improved grip.
Most aluminum frame pistols tend to show excessive wear on the feed ramp, particularly when shooting modern hollow-point ammunition, so Ruger engineers took a hard look at how they could utilize new materials to improve the performance of the aluminum-framed 1911, so the pistol comes factory equipped with an integrated polished titanium feed ramp for a lifetime of reliable performance.
Suggested price for the Lightweight SR1911 is $899. The SR1911 Lightweight Commander-Style pistol features a 4.25” barrel, weighs 29.3 oz. with an empty magazine, and ships with two 7-round magazines, a bushing wrench, cable locking device, and a soft case.
