MTM Case-Gard is introducing several new products this week, including what it calls the perfect tool for handloaders looking to keep their reloading powder dry and safe in one place.
The all-new MTM Powder Keg is a rugged, hinged-lid unit made of high-quality polypropylene that is designed to accommodate multiple reloading powder containers in one place. The Powder Keg can simultaneously store up to two 8-lb. containers, a 4-lb. container, and several 1-lb. containers. The boxes are stackable, with molded tracts to prevent slippage, and feature dual side-mount latches to keep the lids closed tight. For added security, padlock tabs are incorporated so that the powder can be securely locked during storage.
To prevent environmental intrusion — particularly moisture — from entering the box, the Powder Keg comes with a rubber O-ring seal around the lid to ensure your powder stays dry. Molded-in handles facilitate lifting and transport.
The Powder Keg is colored bright red for easy identification, and measures 19 x 15.7 x 13.4 inches.
The company is also expanding its lineup of shotgun choke tube cases with the introduction of the new CT3XL-41 Extended Choke Tube Case.
Built on the same clamshell-style design as the CT3, CT6, and CT9 series cases, the CT3XL-41 case comes with a new mechanical, free-rotating hinge that allows the lid to lie flat when opened for easy access. Additional features include a snap-lid closure and Clear Smoke see-through polyethylene construction for quick identification of contents.
Developed for use with extended choke tubes, the CT3XL-41 case holds up to three extended-length chokes for 10-, 12-, and 20-gauge shotguns. Internal dividers combine with velour foam padding to keep the chokes protected during transport.
In addition,
MTM Case-Gard has announced the all-new Primer Flipper Square.
Conventional primer flippers are round while primers come in a square package. As a result, dumping primers into a round flipper can be a delicate matter. The MTM Primer Flipper Square eliminates the chance of primers scattering across the reloading bench because the tray is proportionally sized to the factory primer boxes.
To use, simply open the factory box to the quantity of primers you need, place the open Primer Flipper Square over the primer container, and rotate 180 degrees to neatly dispense the primers into the Primer Flipper Square. No more runaway primers! Molded trip ridges in the bottom of the Square allow you to flip the primers for easy filling of primer pick-up tubes.
The Primer Flipper Square also comes with a dual-sided lid. One side features a snap-on lid closure to keep primers securely stored between reloading sessions. Turn the lid over for a friction-free lift-off closure for easy accessibility during reload sessions.
