European American Armory, the Florida-based importer of affordable handguns, rifles and shotguns, has unveiled its latest competition semi-auto pistol, the Girsan MC1911 Noel, a single-action handgun with several features suggested by USPSA competitor Noel Zarza.
The pistol is built with a fully-machined steel frame and slide that both wear a matte nickel finish. The Noel pistol features an extended beavertail grip safety and ambidextrous thumb safety, adjustable rear sight and dovetailed front sight.
Chambered for either the .45 ACP or 9mm, the MC1911 Noel has a 5-inch barrel and weighs 2.55 pounds. The .45 version holds eight rounds in the single-stack magazine while the 9mm entry has a 10-round magazine capacity.
EAA says the trigger is factory set at about 2.5 pounds. The pistol has textured laminated grips.
