Yes, all rights are absolute!
Dear Editor:
Have you heard the new “chant” about rights?
That rights aren’t “absolute.”
WRONG! The constitutional and lawful exercise of EVERY RIGHT is ABSOLUTE.
As long as the rights of others are not infringed, the exercise of all rights are ABSOLUTE.
Gee, now how do I know this but not some insane liberals?

Shares Washington quote on bearing arms
Dear Editor:
My brother is a history teacher in the Boston area who happened to find (in someone’s collection) a book entitled “The Words of Washington,” published in 18722,
All information is attached for your reference. We would like the Second Amendment Foundation to note Page 151 in particularly, a statement by Washington on citizens being armed.
My brother is an NRA Life Member and doesn’t hesitate to take on the liberal-progressive revisionists on American history.
God bless America.

The Washington quote relating to Preparations for War was in a speech to both house of Congress on Jan. 8, 1790.
Washington said:
“Free people ought not only to be armed, but disciplined to which end a uniform and well-digested plan is requisite.”
Is the Constitution Still relevant today
Dear Editor:
What do we know about our constitution? It is an old document based on a 700-plus year history of English law. Most people don’t know that. We think it was dreamed up by a bunch of British subjects in the colonies who fought a war against a king who liked to tax those in his domain.
To solve a problem, we must define the problem. We are getting more propaganda than truthful news by a biased media, yet the freedom of the press is still a valued right. Groups are trying to destroy the Second Amendment regarding the right to keep and bear arms. Some judicial decisions are not in the best interests of those who believe in true constitutional rule.
This is an important election year and the citizens have important choices to make. Those who believe that freedom is more important in government than getting “free stuff” and that if we want to remain as citizens rather than being demoted to being subjects, it is up to us to make the necessary changes.
The American voters are an apathetic bunch who take too much for granted and are content to keep the status quo in order to keep getting the “free stuff.” It seems almost humorous, but agonizing to realize that the government has about an 11 percent favorable rating, but the reelection rate is more than 90 percent. There is something wrong with that statistic.
What are you going to do about it?
