Made by the same company that co-developed the 30-round AR magazine with the US Military in 1973, OKAY magazines are now available to the public under the SureFeed banner (www.surefeedmagazines.com).
These are 100% US-made magazines that meet or exceed Mil-Spec requirements. Mag bodies and floor plates are heat treated aluminum, are hard coat anodized and will not shatter or swell like some polymer magazines. Available with either a Mil-Spec dry film lube gray finish or black PTFE finish, these magazines are compatible with any and all Mil-Spec AR receivers. Positive feeding is assured through the use of a four way, anti-tilt, self-lubricating non-hygroscopic resin follower combined with a Mil-Spec stainless steel spring.
We received several magazines for testing and can report that they all functioned flawlessly in more than a couple of AR rifles and carbines. The ten round mags were very handy for bench work as they do not protrude enough to be in the way when zeroing from a rest at the bench.
Highly prized by soldiers and civilian shooters for many years, OKAY magazines have set a standard in the magazine world. OKAY has been a US Government supplier since 1973 and since WWII (as the B Jahn Mfg. CO.) has made over 30 million magazines for the M1 Carbine and M16/AR15 rifles. Available in 30, 20, and 10-round capacities, the OKAY SureFeed magazines have a retail price of $18.95-$19.95.
