Browning will now offer the 280 Ackley Improved (280 AI) in select X-Bolt configurations, the Utah-based company announced.
A longtime favorite of cartridge aficionados, the .280 AI offers shooters excellent accuracy and downrange performance with high ballistic coefficient, heavier for caliber bullets. Contributing to the newfound popularity of the .280 AI is the increased number of factory loads that are now available from most major manufacturers.
