An estimated 2,500 gun rights activists gathered for the 11th annual Second Amendment rally at the Arizona State Capitol grounds in Phoenix, to hear from gun rights leaders including Alan Gottlieb, founder and executive vice president of the Second Amendment Foundation.
Gottlieb, who also chairs the Citizens Committee for the Right to Keep and Bear Arms, was joined on stage by Mark Walters, host of Armed America Radio; Cheryl Todd, host at Gun Freedom Radio; Arizona Congressman Andy Biggs (R-5th Congressional District); Arizona State Rep. Austin Smith (R-29th District), State Rep. Quang Nguyen (R-1st District), gun rights activists Jeff Knox and John Correia, Knife Rights’ Sue Ritter, Stephen Williford and Breitbart writer AWR Hawkins.
The four-hour event was hosted by Rider USA, with more than 45 sponsors including Women for Gun Rights, Arizona Freedom Project, NRA-ILA, Republican Liberty Caucus, Unforgotten Heroes, Gun Owners of America and many more.
Annual foundational partners are SAF, Gun Freedom Radio, AZ Firearms Auctions, the Great State Alliance, Dynamic Combative Solutions, Pot of Gold Auctions, the Firearms Coalition, Arizona Citizens Defense League, Patriot Printing and Promo, and College Republicans United.
According to activist Bill Haas, this annual event has grown larger each year, and the crowd always leaves the site clean.
